Gospel Minister Dr. Reuben Kigame has diagnosed Kenya’s problem as primarily emanating from greed.

Speaking during a state of the nation address by Former Chief Justice David Maraga, Kigame has called out corrupt and unethical leaders remarking that ‘Kenya has a Mouth, Stomach, Eye and conscience Problem’

Kigame has said the country should consider electing a visually impaired President humorously remarking that all the leaders who have sight have only used their eyes to see what public resources they can grab.

“ You guys in 2022 elected a president with sight in 2022. I can see he is helping you very much. Is he helping you?” Kigame quizzed with attendees responding in negative.

The Renown singer turn politician has diagnosed Kenya’s problem as emanating mainly from greed by elected and appointed leaders.

“The first problem of this country is the mouth. Some of us when we open our mouth its just abusive words.” The singer remarked.

The Huniachi hit maker has hit out at leaders with an insatiable appetite for public resources.

Kigame has said that the leaders have plundered resources that are meant for use by successive generations.

“ The second problem is the stomach. Some people have accumulated wealth that if they live to a thousand years without working, they cannot exhaust the monies they have yet they continue to steal.” Kigame has said.

“The third problem is the eyes. It is maybe time we try somebody who is not seeing. Let us be like Indonesia that elected Abdurrahman (Wahid); a blind president.”

Dr. Kigame has further said that Kenya’s fourth problem is conscious, saying that the current leadership lacks humanity.

He has recalled the violence meted on anti-government demonstrators majorly the Gen-Z and the killing of Albert Ojwang.

“If someone can remove Albert Ojwang from Homabay county , bring him to Nairobi and kill him and say he killed himself, that person doesn’t have a human heart, he has the heart of an animal.” Kigame has said.

Kigame has called on the youth to rally behind leaders with uncheckered history whom he say will reset the country to a fresh trajectory.

He has also urged the leaders to unite and field a formidable candidate ahead of the polls.
