President William Ruto has committed to working with the Africa Inland Church (AIC Kenya) owned Scott Christian University to expand access to higher education.
Speaking when he met the institution’s management led by AIC Kenya Presiding Bishop Dr. Rev. Abraham Mulwa , the head of state praised the Machakos based university for its firm moral values, and its curriculum that blends faith with professional training, equipping students with practical skills.
“We commend Scott Christian University for unwavering commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and its contribution to the nation’s transformation.” The President has said.
The head of state commended the University for nurturing a generation of visionary and servant leaders.
“The university is nurturing a generation of visionary and servant leaders, as well as innovators, who will help build a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous Kenya.” Ruto said.
He has added; “We will continue working with the institution to expand access to quality education and empower more young people to contribute to our nation’s growth.”
The university that recently got its charter offers an array of courses to its learners learning on nurturing spiritually sound intellectuals.
Among those who attended the meeting includes AIC Kenya Administrative Secretary Rev. Simeon Adera and Lady Justice Grace Nzioka both of whom sits in the board of trustees of the university.
