The United Democractic Alliance’s candidate in the Emurua Dikirr By-Election David Keter has clinched the seat.
Keter, who is not new to Dikirr’s politics, garnered a total of 18,266 votes trouncing DCP’s Vincent Kibet, who came second with 10, 760 votes.
Keter, popularly known as Dollarline, has emerged second in all elections since 2013, losing the seat to the late Johanna Ngeno who died in a chopper crash last year.
In 2013 he garnered 7,000 votes against Ngeno’s 17,000 losing by roughly 10, 000 votes. In 2017, flying the Jubilee flag, he narrowed the gap getting 13,707 while Ngeno who vied on a KANU ticket emerged winner with over 17,000 votes.
He would later lose to Ngeno again in the 2022 polls. The stars finally aligned for the businessman and farmer when he won the mini- poll.
The UDA Party also emerged victorious in all the ward by-Elections held on Thursday 14th May 2026.
Festus Korir won the Endo ward polls while Sophina Lelerek clinched the Purko Ward in Kajiado County.
