On Sunday 19th April 2026, Biblia Husema Broadcasting had its debut church visit at Deliverance Church Baraka, Maraba in Witeithie, Kiambu County.
The team comprising of BHB, Truth FM presenters and staff led by the General Manager Victor Mandala, joined the church in a Thanksgiving service and sharing of God’s love as part of its mission.
Following the sermon based on 1 Samuel 18:6-17 on the topic: Who is eyeing you by GM Mandala, three people gave their lives to Christ.
At the same time, Deliverance Church Baraka Senior Pastor Reverend Morrice Michugu appreciated Biblia Husema Broadcasting for honoring the church with the visit.
On his part Biblia Husema Broadcasting Head of Radio Douglas Omariba called on the church not to be swayed by worldly trends, but to pray for the nation as it approaches the 2027 general elections.
“We are heading to an electioneering period, and I would like to urge the congregants and clergy to be transformed by the world and be its light,” he urged.
“Let us pray for the country and its leadership irrespective of your political affiliation, during this period since, it is a responsibility that God has placed on our shoulders.” He added.
Omariba further called on young people to be a light and demonstrate a difference through their actions, and not to be influenced by leaders to incite violence.
“We, the youth in church, have a significant mark and responsibility since we have been called and commissioned by Christ to preach the gospel” he said. “We should be a light to the world and strive not to conform to worldly trends so that we can encourage others to emulate us.”
The General Manager on his part further stated the broadcasting house will be doing such visits across the country as part of its mission to spread the love and word of God.
