As schools wrap up Term One, the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) is inviting students to step out of the classroom and into nature through its exciting Wild Scholars Programme.
The initiative encourages schools to give learners a memorable outdoor experience where lessons come alive among wildlife, fresh air, and open landscapes.
“The best classroom sometimes has no walls. It’s out here in the wild, where students can see, hear, and truly experience nature,” KWS said.
To make these trips more accessible, KWS is offering a school trip special:
10 free entries for every 100 paying students visiting any national park, reserve, or sanctuary.
The offer is open to learners from nursery to university level and runs until June 30, 2026.
In addition, children under six years old can enter for free, making it even easier for schools with younger learners to join in.
“We want every student to have a chance to explore, discover, and connect with wildlife. This offer is about making that possible for more schools,” the Service noted.
Teachers are encouraged to take advantage of the final days of the term to organize trips that are both fun and educational.
“When students experience nature firsthand, the lessons stay with them for life,” KWS added.
KWS says bookings are open, and schools can reserve visits to any of its parks and facilities across the country.
