ODM Party Leader Dr. Oburu Oginga has shared an update on his health dismissing reports that he had been admitted instead saying he had gone to hospital fort a brief check up.
The statement comes amidst heightened speculations about the Siaya Senator with social media awash with unverified reports on his status.
The party leader has said he has taken note of the talk online saying he “has read the nations digital news and wish to state that I am very well.”
In a humorous take the Siaya Senator has was not truly sick and will be open if he indeed ‘truly’ falls sick.
“The day I am truly sick, I will inform you all, for I am a very transparent person.”
The veteran politician accompanied the message with photos of him enjoying fruits.
“I had only briefly visited the hospital for a general check up with my doctors and have since returned home.” He has said.
He has further sought to caution Kenyans against spreading misinformation about his health.
“Being sick is a normal human experience and should not alarm anyone.”
The senator has said he is currently recuperating at home after he was discharged from hospital.
