Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has held a consultative meeting with United Alternative Government Rigathi Gachagua and Eugene Wamalwa.

In a social media post Kalonzo has said the meeting centred on the direction of the country.

“This morning, I was joined by my brothers Rigathi Gachagua and Eugene Wamalwa for consultations on the way forward for our country,” Kalonzo said.

The opposition head has further added that the opposition will remain united as it guns for the presidential seat in 2027.

“We continue our engagements, strengthening the unity of the Opposition as we work together to restore hope and deliver the Kenya that our people deserve.” Kalonzo has said.

The meeting comes just a day after Kalonzo led a meeting of the Azimio council that passed a resolution to engage leaders opposed to President William Ruto.

The coalition has said the engagements is meant to build a broader super-coalition ahead of the 2027 General Election.

On his part Wamalwa has said the meeting was focused on building a united country.

“We remain focused on the bigger picture, building a united, peaceful, and better Kenya for all. Our unity is not a matter of circumstance, it is a deliberate covenant. We shall remain united,” he said.
